Welcome to Iron Horse Pony Club Riding Center!

Pony Club is the largest equestrian educational organization in the world. This is where it all begins! The cornerstones of our foundation are education, safety, sportsmanship, stewardship and FUN. Members learn riding and the care of horses through mounted sports. The skills, habits and values instilled through horsemanship will apply to every part of a member’s life.

The biggest misconception of Pony Club is that it is only for riders with ponies. US Pony Club was founded in England where all horses ridden by youth are called “ponies” regardless of their size. In truth, Pony Club is for anyone interested in attaining the very best equine education in the world, being surrounded by like minded riders and horse lovers and participating in events and competitions that allow the rider to demonstrate their outstanding skills. The educational foundation of Pony Club helps to develop outstanding future horsemen and women.

Membership in Pony Club can begin at any time. We have members from age 7 to 65 participating regularly in meetings. We have an active and FUN group of members with a wide range of interests! Our adult members even have their own meetings since we have the largest group of over 25 year olds (most are over 40) in the region!

We have members from the Sherwood, Tualatin, Newberg, Wilsonville, Canby, Aurora, Lake Oswego areas and as far out as Salem, Beaverton/Hillsboro and Ridgefield, Washington!
